Job Role: Trainee Machine Operator
Location: Leicestershire, LE2
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am to 4pm and Friday, 7:30am - 3pm

The Trainee Machine Operator role:

Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
*Learning how to operate machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and hand tools
*Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings (training provided)
*Supporting the workshop team with general duties and housekeeping
*Developing an understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
About You:
*A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
*Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
*A genuine interest in a career in engineering or manufacturing
*Punctual, reliable, and a good team player
*No prior experience required - just the right attitude
