Job Description:
Senior Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing Location: Lincoln | Full-time | Office-based
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paralegal to join a busy residential conveyancing team. The role is ideal for an experienced paralegal with strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently, while providing support to the wider team.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Protocol and experience within the CQS framework, supporting the delivery of smooth and efficient residential property transactions.
Key Responsibilities * Managing and progressing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Remortgages
* Transfers of equity
* New-build transactions
* Shared ownership schemes
* Supporting fee earners with complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other stakeholders
* Conducting due diligence and reviewing title and property documentation
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and key dates
* Providing guidance and mentoring to junior paralegals or support staff
* Contributing to process improvements and efficient workflow within the team
Skills and Attributes * Significant residential conveyancing experience, ideally at a senior paralegal level
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Commercial awareness and proactive problem-solving approach
* Professional and client-focused with a personable manner
* Ability to work collaboratively and support a busy team environment
* Knowledge of Proclaim or Perfect Portal advantageous
