Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to support the team at their Thirsk site. This is a hands-on role involving general warehouse duties, stock control, and the safe loading and unloading of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment and hold a valid FLT licence.

Key Responsibilities:
*Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and equipment.
*Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries accurately.
*Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
*Maintaining accurate stock records and updating inventory systems.
*Assisting with general warehouse organisation and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
*Supporting engineers with equipment preparation and logistics when required.
*Adhering to all company health & safety policies and procedures.


Requirements:
*Valid Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
*Basic computer literacy – training will be given on internal systems.
*Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
