Secondary English Teacher – Supply Role
Location: Wimbledon
Start Date: 06 February 2026
End Date: 22 May 2026
Hours: 08:30 – 15:00, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temporary / Supply
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wimbledon on a supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7–11) in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
*Teach students in Years 7–11, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
*Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
*Collaborate with the school’s teaching team.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
*Previous experience teaching English at secondary level.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students.
