Job Description:
A well-established manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sheet metal professional to work in a modern, well-organised environment with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes, carrying out all sheet metal folding activities, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with management and supervision teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Set, program, and operate CNC press brakes
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
*Produce components to specification, quality standards, and required quantities
*Ensure production deadlines are achieved efficiently
*Maintain high quality standards in line with company procedures
*Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
*Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times
*Identify and report inefficiencies, time overruns, or quality issues
*Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
*Assist with training and development of team members where required
Requirements
*Proven experience as a CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator
*Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
*Ability to read and understand technical drawings
*High attention to detail and quality
*Strong awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
*Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
