Our client is a well-established local radio station with a wide reach across West and East Sussex and Hampshire.

The Role
We are recruiting for several Media Sales Executives.
This role is predominantly telesales-based, you will be required to attend various local events and attend client meetings, operating on an approximate 80/20 split.
Responsibilities will include:
*Selling radio airtime advertising, online, sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
*Selling to B2B business customers with a portfolio of some existing customers.
*Warm and cold telemarketing calls.
*Working with SMEs and corporate clients.
*Structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results.
*Once on board you will manage, nurture and provide great customer service, making them want to grow their business with you.
*Working with a great back up team, you’ll be putting together creative pitches using the latest technology that will make you stand out to your clients.
*You will have the support and back up of presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success
The Person
Our client is looking for a confident, individual with excellent communication skills. You’ll be comfortable working under pressure in a busy sales environment and bring a positive, proactive approach to your work.
Resilience and persistence are key, along with the ability to stay motivated and focused. You’ll need to be equally comfortable with telephone-based sales and face-to-face meetings.
*Previous sales experience is not essential; this is all about your energy and drive
*Great communication skills is especially relevant
*Experience within telesales sales would be an advantage
*A stable work history is important
*Good general computer skills
*High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
The Salary:
£26,500 with a very generous commission structure paid upfront.
offering a realistic first-year OTE of £40,000 + in your first year.
The Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
