A well-established, owner-led legal practice with a strong local reputation is looking to appoint a Property / Residential Conveyancing Lawyer as part of a planned growth phase. The firm has built its success on high-quality residential work, long-standing client relationships and a stable, supportive team environment, and is now expanding its physical presence locally.
The role
This position sits within a busy but well-managed residential conveyancing team, handling core "bread and butter" residential matters. The firm operates with smaller caseloads than volume-led conveyancing practices, allowing a clear focus on quality, attention to detail and client service. Experience with new build transactions would be advantageous, though is not essential.
Key responsibilities
*Managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
*Running files independently with minimal supervision
*Providing a consistently high level of client care
*Working closely with colleagues in a collaborative, office-based environment
*Supporting the firm during a period of controlled growth and expansion
Candidate profile
*Qualified conveyancer preferred (solicitor, licensed conveyancer or equivalent), though strong non-qualified candidates will also be considered
*Proven experience handling conveyancing matters independently
*A solid billing history is advantageous
*Comfortable working fully office-based
*Professional, detail-focused and client-oriented approach
