Vehicle TechnicianRole OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles
*Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical data
*Complete mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently
*Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work required
*Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
*Accurately complete job cards, reports and service documentation
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
*Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop colleagues
Skills & Experience*Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
*MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential)
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Full UK driving licence
