Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: Circa £40,000 + benefits

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Financial Accountant who is close to completing their ACCA exams to step into a broad, hands-on role within a growing finance function. The role will suit someone keen to gain exposure to statutory reporting, audit, tax and financial control, while playing a key role in shaping processes as the finance team continues to evolve. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll be involved in core financial reporting and compliance activities, with plenty of scope to develop as you progress to qualification.


Key Responsibilities
*Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and external financial reporting
*Assisting with the annual statutory audit and liaising with external auditors and advisors
*Supporting the development and maintenance of accounting policies, controls and processes
*Contributing to month-end close and improving reporting timelines and accuracy
*Assisting with tax compliance and related filings
*Supporting wider finance projects including system improvements and process optimisation
*Acting as a mentor/support to junior finance team members where required
About You
*ACCA part qualified and close to completing exams
*Previous experience in a financial accounting or financial control role
*Strong technical grounding with a desire to continue developing
*Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
*Comfortable working in a changing environment with evolving processes
*Proactive, organised and keen to progress into a fully qualified role
