Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support in a care home setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Duties
*Support client with daily living activities, possibly mobility.
*Support the implementation of care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
*Monitor and report changes in client’s health and well-being to nursing staff.
*Maintain a clean and safe environment for resident.
*Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with resident to enhance their quality of life.
*Have knowledge of Computers/Super Heroes/Gaming/Comic Con and or want to learn about these activities.
*Support client to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
*Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Qualifications
*Previous experience in a supported living, care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
*Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
*Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
*Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting tasks.
*A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary.
