Cuxham Mill is a high end catering company, experiencing an exciting period of growth. We have recently won a contract cooking for a fast-growing Al company based in Oxford.
We are also exclusive caterers for Hundred Hills vineyard in the Stonor Valley, as well as occasionally hosting our own pop-up events and supper clubs. We pride ourselves on making everything from scratch from canapes, croutons and sausages to mayonnaise and poco lomo.
We are proudly a skills lead kitchen, butchering all meat and fish from whole where possible, in house.
Our menus vary seasonally and are locally focused, plus we get to work with homegrown produce, grown by ourselves at The Mill.

The Role
Reporting into our Head Chef, The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring our extremely high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are met. The role involves supervising junior kitchen staff, preparing dishes to specification, and supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. This role is based in Chalgrove, South Oxfordshire in a rural location.
Key Responsibilities
*Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section.
*Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to our menu specifications and quality standards.
*Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
*Assist with menu development and daily specials when required.
*Maintain smooth service during busy periods.
*Coordinate with other sections to ensure timely service.
*Minimise food waste and control portioning.
*Ensure correct storage and labelling of food.
Essential requirements:
*We are looking for a Team player with a willingness to learn, who embraces hard work, high standards, is reliable, and has a friendly disposition
*Experience in a similar calibre restaurant /catering business
