Maths Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)
Salary: £35 - £45 per hour
Location: Poole and Bournemouth campuses
Duration: 19th Jan to 23rd Jan & 26th Jan to 30th Jan
We are urgently seeking a Maths Teacher, capable of covering some GCSE English resit classes, for a short-term, full-time position. This role requires travel between our Poole and Bournemouth campuses.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Maths, with some coverage of English, to GCSE resit students.
Prepare educational material and resources relevant to the curriculum.
Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them effectively for exams.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and interests of the students.
Maintain discipline in the classroom and foster a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in teaching Maths at GCSE level, with some experience in teaching English.
Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel between campuses as required.
