Job Description:
Humanities Teacher - Full Time PRU - Blackley
Start Date: After February Half Term
We are currently working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Blackley who are seeking a full-time Humanities Teacher to join their team from after February half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and resilient teacher who is looking to make a real difference within alternative provision. The role involves teaching Humanities to small groups of pupils, supporting both their academic progress and wider personal development.
The Role: * Full-time Humanities teaching role (KS3 and/or KS4)
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
* Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs
* Managing behaviour using a calm, consistent, trauma-informed approach
* Working closely with support staff and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate: * Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Has experience teaching Humanities (PRU, AP, or SEND experience is desirable but not essential)
* Is adaptable, patient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
* Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
