Job Description:
A well-supported secondary school in Hackney is looking to appoint a confident Behaviour Mentor from January 2026. This long-term role runs until July 2026 and is perfect for someone who wants to positively influence students who need additional guidance.
You will be:
*Supporting pupils with behavioural needs both in and out of the classroom
* Building trust and acting as a positive role model
* Working with teachers to maintain a positive, structured learning environment
* Leading small-group sessions and providing 1:1 mentoring
This role suits candidates who:
*Have experience working with young people (youth work, mentoring, pastoral roles)
* Are calm, confident, and able to manage challenging situations effectively
* Want to pursue a career in pastoral care, teaching, counselling, or similar fields
