About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a well-established and respected law firm in North Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy conveyancing department and enjoys providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing full secretarial support to conveyancers, including audio and copy typing
*Preparing and formatting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
*Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating client meetings
*Handling incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally
*Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in line with compliance procedures
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
*Supporting the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
About You
*Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing is essential
*Strong audio typing and document production skills
*Confident using case management systems and MS Office
*A proactive, supportive team player with excellent attention to detail
