Job Description:
Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)
Location: Exeter area (EX2)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days (06:00-14:00 / 10:00-18:00)
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in the Exeter area. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias to work in a stable, day-shift role.
The Role:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
* Fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
* Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
* Apprenticeship trained or equivalent in Engineering
* Electrical or Mechanical bias (either considered)
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working rotating day shifts
