Job Description
We are looking for a Roofer’s Mate to assist on a high-end timber-framed construction project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled roofers on a prestigious development.
Key Responsibilities
*Assist roofers with installation and maintenance of timber-framed roofing systems.
*Handle and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for roofing tasks.
*Support with lifting, carrying, and positioning roofing components safely.
*Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
*Follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a roofer’s mate or in a similar construction support role.
*Good understanding of site safety practices.
*Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
*Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required.
