Our client is a leading asbestos contractor based in Sittingbourne, is on the lookout for an experienced Asbestos Operative to join their growing team. They work across a wide portfolio of clients, including private residential and commercial sectors, as well as local authorities, schools, hospitals, and other civic buildings. .
The Role: You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all works are carried out on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee asbestos-related projects across the Medway and wider Kent area
*Conduct and manage asbestos surveys, removals and collections
*Ensure strict compliance with health and safety and asbestos legislation
*Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and safe project delivery
Requirements:
*Proven background in asbestos management, removal, and collection
*Sound understanding of asbestos survey procedures
*Excellent knowledge of legislation and health and safety compliance
*UK Driving Licence is essential
*Valid and relevant asbestos certificates required
*Ideally holds P402 or RSPH qualification
