The Job You’ll Do;
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery & equipment to a high standard
*Adhere to the company’s HSE standards
*Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and all production-related equipment
*Support the installation of new equipment as required
*Inspect and assess the functionality of production machinery
*Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns efficiently
*Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
*Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections
*Produce and submit comprehensive maintenance reports
*Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives
*Design and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
*Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area
*Assist with training and mentoring apprentices
*Undertake facilities maintenance duties as required
About You;
*Time served and ideally multi-skilled, although a slight bias towards Electrical or Mechanical is considered
*Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above
*Previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in an equivalent role
*Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems maintenance
*Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
*Basic computer and report writing skills
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
*Physical fitness
