An inclusive and supportive school in Reading is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to work closely with pupils who present with challenging behaviour, emotional regulation difficulties, and SEMH needs.

*Role:SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor
*Location: Reading
*Salary: £89-£100 per day
*Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
*Start Date: ASAP
*Age Group: Primary and/or Secondary (dependent on placement)
*Ideal for: Psychology, Criminology, Counselling graduates or experienced support staff
Role Responsibilities
*Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs
*Supporting behaviour regulation, emotional resilience, and positive coping strategies
*Assisting with de-escalation and implementing behaviour support plans
*Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times
*Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
