Property Valuer
Basic Salary: £28,000
On Target Earnings: £45,000
Location: Derby


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Valuer to join a successful and fast-paced estate agency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on winning new business, delivering exceptional customer service, and securing strong instruction levels.
The successful candidate will be confident in carrying out market appraisals, building rapport with clients, and converting valuations into instructions.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct accurate and well-researched market appraisals and provide clients with informed valuation advice
*Convert valuations into instructions through strong communication, rapport-building, and follow-up
*Carry out market research, prepare valuation reports, and stay up to date with local market trends
*Ensure all compliance checks and documentation are completed correctly
*Support branch performance by generating new business through touting, canvassing, and door knocking
*Build strong relationships with vendors, buyers, and internal teams
*Work closely with mortgage services, lettings, and auction departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities
*Maintain high levels of customer service and uphold the company’s professional reputation
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience as a Valuer, Senior Negotiator, or similar role within estate agency
*Strong track record of winning instructions and generating new business
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Confident, proactive, and target-driven
*Strong understanding of the local property market
*Full UK driving licence
