Job Description:
The Opportunity
My client is a hugely successful Engineering group delivering a range of projects and services across the retail and commercial sectors.
Due to continued and increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Estimator to support the teams
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates
*Managing estimating activities
*Pricing variations and supporting commercial negotiations
*Working collaboratively with design and delivery teams
Experience & Technical Knowledge Required
Proven Experience In:
*Building services / M&E contracting environment
*Variation pricing
Strong Technical Understanding Of:
Mechanical:
*Heating and chilled water systems
*Ventilation systems and ductwork
*Sanitaryware and drainage
*Valves, isolation, brackets, and fixings
Electrical:
*Electrical distribution boards
*Containment strategies
*Cabling
*Lighting and controls
*Small power
*Earthing and bonding
Qualifications
*Degree in Engineering or NVQ equivalent
*HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering
*Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in an M&E estimating role
