Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join our vibrant Performing Arts department on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students, bring energy to the classroom, and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will be joining a supportive team committed to fostering confidence, self-expression, collaboration, and a love for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities*Teach Drama to students across [KS3 / KS4 / KS5].
*Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that engage and challenge learners.
*Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Contribute to extracurricular drama activities, rehearsals, or school productions (desirable but not essential).
*Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Performing Arts department.
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Drama within a school setting.
*Strong subject knowledge and passion for performing arts.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
