Interim FP&A Manager | £350-£450 per day | 3-6 Months | Fully Remote

We’re supporting a high-growth, private equity-backed renewable technology group operating nationwide across clean and renewable energy. The business is scaling quickly through a buy-and-build strategy, with multiple legal entities and ambitious growth targets. Finance is seen as critical infrastructure, not just a back-office function.

This is an urgent interim requirement, with work expected to start immediately.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of strengthening FP&A capability across the group, initially focusing on the largest business unit.

*FP&A Build-Out: Designing and embedding a scalable FP&A framework to support rapid growth and acquisition activity.
*Data Warehouse Design: Leading the design and build of a finance data warehouse, consolidating ledger data across multiple legal entities.
*Management Reporting: Delivering accurate, timely branch-level and group-level P&Ls and balance sheets.
*Insight & Visualisation: Driving improvements in management reporting using Tableau to support commercial and operational decision-making.
*Business Partnering: Acting as a trusted finance partner to operational and commercial teams across the business.
*Controls & Support: Supporting management accounts preparation alongside a qualified management accountant (without formal sign-off responsibility).
This interim FP&A Manager role is hands-on, delivery-focused, and highly visible- ideal for someone comfortable operating in ambiguity and building solutions rather than inheriting them.
What we’re looking for
*A strong FP&A background within growth-oriented or PE-backed businesses.
*Proven experience delivering finance data warehouse or consolidation projects.
*Hands-on Tableau experience (essential).
*Comfortable working across multiple legal entities in a buy-and-build environment.
*Professional qualification desirable, but experience and delivery capability matter most.
