Job Description:
Management Accountant | 6 month FTC | Lancashire | Up to £60,000
An established and fast-paced business is looking for a Management Accountant to support the finance team on a fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in producing timely financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving improvements in reporting and controls.
Responsibilities
*Prepare weekly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
*Produce monthly management accounts, including CoS and direct cost reconciliations.
*Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory returns, including VAT.
*Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
*Maintain and monitor provision schedules and rebate schedules.
*Assist with external and internal audits.
About You
*ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant with experience in a similar role.
*FMCG or manufacturing experience is essential.
*High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously when required.
*A proactive problem solver who can think around challenges and develop solutions.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
*Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise effectively.
