We are currently recruiting for a Leighton Buzzard based company who are seeking a temp to perm Warehouse & FLT Driver with valid Flexi and Counterbalance licences. You will be joining a market leader within the logistics sector, who are continuing to grow their teams, offering stable employment.
Location: Leighton Buzzard.
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Contract Type: Temp to perm.
Start Date: ASAP.
Overview:
* Candidates MUST be confident working in a fast-paced environment, operating Flexi & Counterbalance forklift trucks, and handling heavy based products (lifting is essential).
Duties:
*To operate and use Flexi & Counterbalance forklift trucks to move, load, and unload various products.
*Loading & unloading containers. These can vary in size and weight. Please note, heavy lifting will be required.
*Picking and picking products, ensuring accuracy. Scanning guns and order sheets are used.
*Handling in-bound and out-bound products.
*Maintaining & ensuring accuracy when moving stock and updating internal warehouse systems.
*Assisting with general day-to-day warehouse duties.
*Working to targets, deadlines and business KPI’s.
*Adhering to health & safety processes.
*Other duties as assigned by management teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Valid FLT licences, with certificates available - Counterbalance and Flexi.
*A minimum of two years warehouse experience.
*Good computer skills, and knowledge of using scanning guns preferred.
*Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
*Fit and healthy, with the ability to lift and load - varying weights.
*Good attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
