Accounts Assistant – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Up to £13 per hourFull-time | Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–3:30pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temp to perm basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident communicating with both customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
*Set up new supplier and customer accounts
*Carry out credit assessments and set credit limits
*Process purchase invoices and manual sales/purchase invoices and credit notes
*Arrange invoice approvals and support payment runs (sterling and foreign)
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
*Manage customer queries and support debt collection
*Provide reporting and analysis on overdue accounts and payment patterns
*Liaise with stakeholders regarding unmatched invoices
*Support month-end processes and assist with audit/statutory duties
*Handle general administrative tasks as required
