Job Description:
Corporate Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Hampshire, £Competitive (DOE) – A new opportunity for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join this dynamic and growing team. JOB REF: 215302497
THE ROLE:
• Advising on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, share and asset sales and purchases, and business disposals
• Taking responsibility for matters from initial structuring through to completion and post-completion, ensuring transactions are delivered efficiently and smoothly
• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of transactional and ancillary documentation, including SPAs, disclosure letters, and supporting agreements
• Managing and overseeing legal due diligence processes, coordinating information flow, reviewing documentation, and reporting findings clearly
• Supporting and advising on group restructurings and reorganisations, including updates to governance frameworks and corporate records
• Preparing tailored shareholder agreements, LLP agreements, and constitutional documents to meet specific client requirements
• Assisting with the design, implementation, and administration of employee share schemes and company option arrangements
• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers while also leading client relationships and matters independently where appropriate
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in corporate law
• Strong technical expertise across M&A and corporate governance
• Commercially astute with a proactive and solution-focused approach
• Confident managing matters and building strong client relationships
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organisational skills
