We are seeking a Maths Teacher for ongoing cover, starting as soon as possible. This role involves full teaching responsibilities in a dynamic educational environment. If you are passionate about mathematics and eager to inspire young minds, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and behavioural standards.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
*Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience in teaching Maths at a secondary school level.
*Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Maths.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour.
*Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards teaching.
