Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our school community in Wellingborough, Northampton. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children’s educational and developmental needs in a primary school setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities, ensuring they meet the educational needs of the children.
*Work closely with the primary teacher to enhance the learning environment for all students.
*Support children individually and in small groups to help them achieve their learning objectives.
*Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
*Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
*Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
*A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and education.
*Patience and flexibility, able to adapt to varying needs of children.
*NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
