Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Secondary Schools Location: Lewisham
Contract: Full-time | 5 days per week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in Lewisham. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young people and keen to develop their career within education.

You will be joining environments where your skills are valued and where there are clear opportunities for progression, including pathways into teacher training or senior support roles.
The Role: * Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Working with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and engagement
* Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
* Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
* Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A flexible, proactive, and professional approach
* A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
