Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to inspire students across Newcastle upon Tyne? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated English Teachers to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons, helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Whether you are looking for short-term supply, long-term placements, or a permanent opportunity, this role offers flexibility and strong support throughout your teaching journey.
The Opportunity * Teach English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4, and KS5
* Work within secondary schools and colleges across Newcastle upon Tyne
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where applicable
What We’re Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school or college
* Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
