Job Description:
This role of an SEN Teacher in and around the Huddersfield ares is ideal for teachers who are stepping away from permanent roles but still want to teach at a high standard without the additional pressures that often come with full-time contracts.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff

The Ideal Candidate For The Role Of An SEN Teacher Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
*Proven experience working in a special school or specialist SEN provision
*Strong knowledge of EHCPs, personalised learning pathways, and assessment for pupils with complex needs
*Confident behaviour management skills, including experience with SEMH and trauma-informed approaches
*The ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
*Flexibility and professionalism when working across different classes or key stages
*A calm, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
*A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
