Job Description:
Learning Support Assistant
Primary School
Waltham Forest
SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking Learning Support Assistants for primary schools across the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
As a learning support assistant, you will:
*Work closely with primary aged students who have additional learning needs
*Provide dedicated support in class, helping students access learning materials
*Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student
*Encourage social interaction
*Work closely with the school’s inclusion team to implement individual strategies for the student’s development
*Work with small groups of students delivering targeted interventions
*Work 1:1 with students as required
About you:
*Experienced SEN teaching assistant/ learning support assistant
*Understanding of Autism
*Strong behaviour management
*Professional manor
*Enthusiasm and friendly approach
*To be fun and creative
