Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Northumberland and surrounding areas
Role Type: Flexible - Full-time & Part-time opportunities available
Age Range: Early Years, Key Stage 1 (KS1) & Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £95 / £120 per day DOE

The Role * Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons

* Work with individuals or small groups to support learning and development

* Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

* Promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing

* Support children with additional needs where required

* Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities at all times

What You’ll Need * Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)

* A positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young learners

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development

* Relevant childcare or education qualifications are beneficial but not essential
