· Map workflows, identify pain points & lead implementation of operational changes, communicating progress to the Executive team.
· Monitor weekly cash flow & develop strategies to optimise liquidity for growth.
· Design & maintain financial and operational KPIs, providing actionable reports to the Exec team.
· Own the month-end close process, including preparation of Board reports & commentary.
· Lead forecasting, budgeting, and 3-year financial planning efforts.
· Manage relationships with banks, investors, suppliers, contractors, and overseas partners, including audit coordination.
· Partner with multiple departments on commercial and operational projects, offering strategic financial insights.
· Maintain strict cost control, ensuring spend is aligned with growth objectives.
· Stay informed on Property Management best practices, property law, and industry trends; support qualifications like ARLA.
· Work with IT partners to optimise CRM / reporting tools, leveraging automation to enhance efficiency.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
· Desired - Some external/internal audit experience. Whilst Property Experience may be helpful, the right candidate can also learn on the job - this is an onsite role, Monday - Friday.
· Graduate-calibre, part or newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar qualified.
· Excel and ERP systems experience. PowerPoint/Board level reporting deliverables experience ideal - but not mandatory.
· High level of professionalism, discretion & maturity to professionally deal with sensitive & confidential information.
· Strong cashflow management experience.
· Strong communication skills particularly with a more junior, transactional overseas team and colleagues outside of Finance.
· The ability to constructively challenge existing process, reporting and data whilst keeping team members motivated.
· A positive and resourceful attitude to challenges.
· A sense of fun, camaraderie & teamwork is essential.
