We’re hiring for a growing manufacturing business in West Wickham that’s continuing to invest in its finance function as the business develops. This is a transactional accounting role focused on accounts payable and accounts receivable, ideal for someone studying AAT who wants practical, day-to-day exposure within a well-structured finance team.

WISH LIST
*Currently studying AAT or planning to start
*Some experience in transactional finance or a finance support role
*Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems
*Organised, detail-focused, and keen to learn
THE ROLE
*Process supplier invoices accurately and on time
*Support accounts payable, including payment runs and supplier queries
*Raise sales invoices and manage accounts receivable
*Monitor customer payments and support credit control activity
*Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
*Maintain accurate records within Xero
*Carry out bank reconciliations
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting schedules
*Keep financial data clean, accurate, and well organised
*Liaise with internal teams to resolve finance-related queries
*Contribute to improving transactional finance processes
YOUR PROFILE
*AAT studier or actively planning to study
*Effective communicator – written & verbal
*Good working knowledge of MS Excel
*Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
*Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
SALARY & BENEFITS
*£24,000 – £26,000 depending on experience
*Permanent, full-time position
*Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 from home
