We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, confident and passionate hands-on nursery manager to take ownership leading a well-established outdoor forest school nursery that puts nature, wellbeing, and child-led learning and growth first.
The Outdoor Nursery Manager Role
As a forest school nursery manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the outdoor nursery, including:
*Day-to-day leadership and management of the outdoor nursery
*Managing, mentoring, and motivating the nursery team
*Ensuring high-quality EYFS delivery within an outdoor nursery setting
*Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted compliance
*Building positive relationships with parents and carers
*Supporting staff development, retention, and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a nursery manager or deputy nursery manager
*Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
*Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
*A genuine passion for outdoor learning and outdoor nursery practice
*Confident leadership and excellent organisational skills
*Driving is mandatory
