I’m seeking a proactive and hands on Finance Manager to join a long standing client of ours based in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys owning the day-to-day finance function..
Key Responsibilities
*Manage the day-to-day finance function, including oversight of transactional finance
*Produce monthly management accounts, reports, and commentary
*Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
*Prepare cashflow forecasts and monitor cash management
*Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
*Support with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
*Implement and improve financial controls, systems, and processes
*Process Payroll for staff and subcontractors
*Provide financial insights to senior leadership to support decision-making
*Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
*Support the wider business with financial guidance and ad-hoc analysis
Key Skills & Experience
*Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
*Strong understanding of management accounts and financial reporting
*Excellent analytical skills with a commercial mindset
*Confident in improving processes and driving efficiencies
*Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and finance systems
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across the business
*Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
