Legal Secretary – Residential Property
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join our busy Residential Property Department. This role is central to ensuring our Lawyers can deliver an exceptional service to clients by providing reliable, efficient and high-quality secretarial and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
*Provide a comprehensive secretarial service including audio typing, copy typing, word processing, file opening, filing, time recording and preparing standard legal forms.
*Work independently to progress routine fee-earning tasks as delegated by Lawyers.
*Act as a first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a professional, friendly and reassuring service.
*Handle sensitive or emotional situations with empathy — particularly when assisting bereaved or distressed clients.
*Work closely with Lawyers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the Residential Property Team.
*Demonstrate an understanding of basic accounts procedures and accurately complete financial documentation.
Skills & Attributes
We are looking for someone who can bring:
*Fast and accurate typing and strong IT skills
*Knowledge of basic legal processes within Residential Property
*Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional manner
