An exciting new opportunity for a Company Secretarial Trainee to join a growing insurance company in the City of London to gain hands-on experience in corporate governance and board support.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a Corporate Secretarial department/governance setting and will be keen to learn. You will have diary management skills, experience in drafting minutes, and the ability to work to deadlines. The company offers full support for the CGI UK qualification, as well as mentoring and clear progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Assisting in the preparation and distribution of board and committee papers, maintaining statutory registers, and supporting Companies House filings
*Assisting with the administration associated with the Board and Committees which will include maintaining annual agenda plans, preparing draft agendas for Committee meetings, formatting of papers, and diarising/scheduling meetings
*Maintaining a close working relationship with the CEOs, the Executive Directors, and the Chairs and Members of the Group Committees
*Assisting with statutory compliance for the company including statutory records and preparing UK statutory forms at Companies House
*Maintaining an annual timetable of regular Companies House and other key filings to ensure compliance
*Assisting with the production of quarterly ESG reporting
