Contracts Manager – Midlands (Derby / Birmingham)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + electric company car
Location: Remote-based with regular travel to sites across Derby, Birmingham and surrounding areas

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Contracts Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of sites across the Midlands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing relationships, visiting sites regularly and ensuring high standards are consistently met.
While home-based, the role involves frequent travel to sites and face-to-face interaction with customers and on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a portfolio of sites and on-site teams
*Acting as the main point of contact for customers
*Carrying out regular site visits to monitor standards and performance
*Identifying risks or issues and implementing practical solutions
*Completing site assessments and safety reviews
*Ensuring site records and systems are accurate and up to date
*Supporting teams with guidance, feedback and training where needed
*Preparing performance summaries and updates for customers
*Managing health & safety matters and incident follow-ups
About You
*Confident managing relationships with customers and teams
*Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
*Strong communication skills
*Comfortable using systems and technology
*Experience managing contracts, sites or field-based teams
*Good awareness of health & safety
*Full UK driving licence
