Senior UI Designer
Location: Exeter - hybrid
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum plus benefits
Do you want to take a mature SaaS product and completely raise the standard of its UI while shaping a brand new design system from the ground up?
A growing UK SaaS provider helping field and operational teams work smarter. The product is well established and widely used, and the business is now building a dedicated product function to improve the quality and consistency of the user interface.
We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to lead the visual and interaction design of a complex web based platform. You will create developer ready UI for new features, refine existing journeys and establish a design system that will support both desktop and mobile. If you enjoy simplifying complex workflows and collaborating closely with engineering, this is a role with real ownership and impact.
What you will do
*Create high quality, user centred UI for a feature rich B2B SaaS product
*Produce clean, developer ready assets and detailed specs
*Improve consistency, accessibility and component usage
*Identify user pain points and contribute to early discovery
*Work closely with product, engineering and other teams
*Support iterative improvements without disrupting existing customers
What you will bring
*Strong portfolio of shipped product work in B2B or data heavy SaaS
*Confident UI craft, systems thinking and interaction fundamentals
*Experience building or maturing design systems
*Ability to produce detailed, production ready UI
*Good understanding of responsive design and accessibility
*Comfortable working with engineers and front end constraints
*Happy using Figma, Sketch, Adobe or similar tools
Nice to have
*Experience with complex workflows, dashboards or high density interfaces
*Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
*Experience in agile or product led environments
