About the Company
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, who is seeking several reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team in Luton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity within a chilled environment — perfect for candidates seeking stability and a long-term career path.
Key Responsibilities:
*Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately
*Safely lifting and moving boxes within the warehouse
*Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area
*Following health and safety guidelines at all times
*Assisting with inventory management and documentation
Candidate Requirements:
*Previous experience in chilled warehousing is a plus but not essential
*Strong attention to detail
*Basic maths skills and good English (written and spoken)
*Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
*Ideally have own transport due to the site location
*Must have own safety boots
Benefits:
*Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm
*Pay rate: £12.25 per hour, increasing to £12.75 per hour upon becoming permanent
*Occasional Sunday overtime (9am – 1pm) paid at £18.38 per hour (time and a half)
*Personal protective equipment provided (Hi-Vis & gloves)
