SEND Teaching Assistant – Coventry
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £14 per hour

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting pupils’ learning, independence, and emotional wellbeing. You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff who are dedicated to helping pupils achieve meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing tailored 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs
*Assisting teachers in delivering personalised learning programmes
*Helping pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
*Creating a safe, calm, and encouraging classroom environment
*Supporting students with daily routines and positive behaviour
*Recording progress and sharing updates with teaching staff
About You
*Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, or youth settings)
*A patient, caring, and resilient nature
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles
*A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
