About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and professional Lettings Negotiator & Property Management Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role, combining lettings negotiator responsibilities with hands-on property management. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for tenants, landlords, and applicants, ensuring smooth processes and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities of a Lettings Negotiator
Lettings Negotiator
*Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
*Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to secure successful tenancies.
*Progress tenancy applications, referencing, and paperwork in a timely manner.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and applicants.
Property Management
*Act as the first point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance issues or queries.
*Coordinate and manage property maintenance, liaising with contractors and landlords.
*Problem-solve effectively, ensuring issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.
*Carry out property inspections and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
*Support landlords with tenancy renewals and property-related/market advice.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in lettings negotiation, property management, or a similar customer-facing role (preferred but not essential).
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Excellent organisational ability with attention to detail.
*Confident problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure.
*A professional and approachable manner with a focus on customer service.
*Full UK driving licence.
