Female PE Teacher
*Location: Surrey
*Job Type: Part-time (4 days a week, temporary until Easter)
*Salary: Paid to scale
We are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This role involves full teaching and assessment responsibilities. The position is part-time, four days a week, and is available until Easter. Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to promote strong student outcomes.
*Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic learning environment.
*Encourage students to actively participate in all physical activities and to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
*Organize sports events and competitions.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricula.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Previous experience as a PE Teacher in a secondary school environment.
*Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.
*Excellent communication and motivational skills.
*Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behavior.
*Commitment to professional development and learning.
