The Company
Our client is a well-established consultancy firm based in the City of London, working with a diverse international client base. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team, initially on a 3 month FTC but will be looking to move into a permanent role after the 3 months.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or early-career finance professional to develop their accounting skills within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance colleagues and will have exposure to a wide range of accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with purchase and sales ledger processing
*Posting invoices, expenses, and payments accurately
*Supporting bank reconciliations and month-end processes
*Assisting with VAT returns and basic financial reporting
*Liaising with internal stakeholders and international clients
*Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required
Candidate Requirements
*Fluent in Italian or German (written and spoken)
*Some previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role (or relevant studies)
*Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
*Good working knowledge of Excel
*A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
