Responsibilities
*Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
*Support individuals with mobility and transfers as needed.
*Help implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
*Maintain accurate records of daily activities and any changes in residents’ conditions.
*Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
*Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.
*Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
*Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
Experience
*Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
*A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial.
*Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
*Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and documentation.
