Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection are looking for aCategory Manager - Premium consumables, to join its expanding global product team within marketing. You will be accountable for driving sustained growth, performance, and overall category commercials. The role has full ownership of category strategy and portfolio management, ensuring both new and existing ranges achieve strong commercial outcomes, remain true to brand values, and meet the needs of consumers and retail partners.
A UK-based design-led premium/luxury business, renowned for creating distinctive, high-quality Gifts and accessories . The company has a strong global presence, a loyal customer following, and a reputation for creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
In this position your responsibilities as a Category Manager - Premium consumables include :
*Take full ownership of the product portfolios, shaping category strategy, market positioning, and complete product lifecycle execution.
*Develop and implement pricing and positioning strategies that strengthen competitiveness, maximise margin, and safeguard brand value.
*Oversee the stage-gate governance of category initiatives, guiding projects from initial concept and validation through to production sign-off.
*Monitor market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitor movements to uncover growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
*Lead the long-term evolution of the categories, driving innovation and scalable growth in line with overarching business goals.
*Apply customer insights and performance analytics to optimise product direction and adapt to changing consumer expectations.
*Ensure product development and marketing activity consistently reflect and reinforce core brand principles and identity.
To be successful in this position Category Manager - Premium consumables you must have:
*Ideally having 5 years + experience in category management within the luxury consumer goods sector.
*Proven background working with premium and luxury brands in high-end retail environments, with a strong understanding of luxury consumer and retailer expectations.
*Commercially minded strategist able to balance long-term vision with operational execution, with experience delivering product innovation and driving market growth.
*Strong expertise in pricing frameworks, market positioning, and competitive landscape management.
*Experienced in leveraging market research and competitor analysis to anticipate industry trends and evolving customer needs.
*Highly effective collaborator with a track record of working across global, cross-functional teams including Sales, Design, and Operations to deliver successful product outcomes.
